Limericks are short Poems originated in Ireland.
They have a pretty regular structure.
So it's easy to make your own and they're great Practicing your English.
Here is what you need to know.
They have five lines lines 12 and five have the same rhyme.
They have eight syllables.
Lines three and four have the same rhyme.
They have five syllables.
Limericks tell a short story.
Line one introduces the character line to gives more detail.
Lines three and four are the story, and line five is the conclusion.
