Morning, neighbor.
How are you doing?
Is that you, Lawrence?
Yeah, it is.
What happened to you?
Were you all?
I barely slept last night.
There was so much noise coming from your apartment.
I mean the music, the shouting, the loud talking.
I could hear it through my walls.
Sorry.
I should be able to enjoy some peace and quiet.
You know, it's my right.
I've raised this with you so many times before.
It was just a party.
I mean, it can't have been that bad.
It was noisy all night, and I couldn't sleep at all.
I've told you before that I'm a light sleeper.
In any case, it's unreasonable to expect anyone to sleep through that kind of noise.
We were up until about 2: 00 AM in the morning, and then we were completely quiet afterwards.
I'm sorry, but if this continues, then I'm going to have to make a complaint to the body corporate.
I've tried to resolve this by negotiating with you, but I'm getting nowhere.
Look, Charlotte, I'm really sorry, but they're just parties.
Look, can we just resolve this once and for all?
Okay.
Okay, here's the deal.
You can have your parties at night, but if they go on any later than 10: 00 PM, then you have to be quiet.
Okay.
That way you can enjoy yourself and I will get to sleep, and so will the rest of our neighbors.
Sure.
If we can agree on this, then this dispute will be settled once and for all.
Okay, you're right.
I'm sorry.
It's my responsibility as your neighbor to be quiet, especially at night.
Yeah, I think so, too.
I'm sorry about any disturbance me and my friends might have caused,
but I really do appreciate you actually coming and talking to me about this.
I just don't want to be making a formal complaint against you.
Yeah, neither do i, but look i appreciate you coming to talk to me about it.
I really do.
Well, after all, we're neighbors.
I'm sure we can figure something out.
Thanks, Charlotte.
Appreciate it.
Bye.
