Hello, hello.
Oh, hey, Lawrence.
You're just finishing up.
How's your class?
Really, really good.
I just love that natural high that you get from exercising. You know?
It feels amazing.
Yeah, I know. Tell me about it.
Did you come straight from work?
Yeah, I had a pretty stressful day, but I do feel a lot better after working out.
How about you?
Oh, yeah. I just did a quick run after work.
I'm just doing some stretches now
It's so important to keep fit and active, isn't it?
Yeah, it's really easy to lead a sedentary lifestyle these days.
Yeah, I know.
It can lead to a lot of health problems, too.
If you're a couch potato, sitting down all the time at work or at home or in the car, or if you don't watch what you eat.
Yeah.
I mean, that was me before, actually.
Then I had a pretty significant health scare and changed my whole perspective on eating healthy and exercising.
Oh, really?
Is everything okay now?
Yeah, everything's fine now.
I can't complain.
But I did have to change a fair few of my daily habits, like my diet, for instance.
Okay.
So you found eating a well-balanced diet helped?
Yeah, for sure.
It's eating more vegetables, more fruit, having lean meat, and so on.
Yeah, you have to be careful of those crash diets and fat diets, too, though.
I find that eating a well balanced diet and exercising regularly is the best combination
But it takes a lot of discipline when you're busy and have a lot going on.
Yeah, but look, I think a lot of people think that to exercise means that you have to do it for hours and hours.
But you can actually do it bit by bit,
like going for a morning walk or on the weekend just going for a swim
Or let's say with work, taking the stairs instead of the lift.
Yeah, they're great ideas, actually.
I don't have to remember those.
Thanks.
All good?
I've actually got to run.
It's good to see you.
I'll see you next time.
You too.
Bye.
