Welcome to the library. How can I help?

Well, I would like read online that to borrow books here,

I need a library card.

Yes, you do.

So we'll need you to fill out these forms, please.

I'll need to see a bill,

so a credit card bill or a phone bill.

That's just to show that you live in the area.

I'll also need some form of identification.

Well, what a identification?

A driver's license would work as well.

Oh, yeah, that works.

I've got that.

For the bill, would an electronic bill work?

Yes, absolutely.

Okay, great.

What about the rest of my family?

Do they need their own cards, or can they just use my card?

Well, that's up to you.

If they do use your card, you'll be responsible for any late fees

or for any missing books as well.

Is there an additional fee for more cards?

No.

Well, I might get them to get their own cards,

then it's just more convenient that way.

Yeah.

If you want to get cards for your family members,

you'll just need to have them come down

and fill out a few forms as well.

All right. How long can we borrow books for?

So all that information is in this brochure

And what i'll do is set you up with an online account,

and then that way you can renew your borrowed books online, too.

Yeah, there's a few things you can do with an online account.

You can borrow ebooks, you can put a hold on a particular book you'd like

And as I said before, you can renew your books.

But I have to come back to the library to return books?

Yes. If you've borrowed a physical book, you'll need to come back down here,

return the book over to the counter, or use one of our book drops.
