Well, I'm looking at taking off a course here,

and I wanted to find out what might be suitable for me given my qualifications.

Was there a particular course you were interested in?

Yeah, I was thinking something in aged care.

But first off, could you show me your visa and your highest qualification?

Yeah, sure.

Here is a copy of my visa,

and I have a bachelor's degree.

But why are you interested in aged care?

Oh I just love being around people and helping them.

I helped look after my grandparents

when I was still at Uni.

That was for a few years?

That was for about four years.

I didn't have Uni every day,

so I looked after my grandma and grandpa when I was living at home with my parents.

Did you enjoy doing that?

Yeah, I loved it.

It was a lot of fun.

I taught my nan and pop how to use their phones and iPads properly,

you know, not just for making phone calls.

I'm guessing you miss them a lot,

given the fact that you live so far away from each other now.

Yeah, I do.

I miss them so much, but it's what got me interested in aged care.

Well, look, it sounds like aged care is probably perfect for you.

You'll probably pick it up really easily,

and I think you will sail through the course.
