Now, every mid-autumn season, Luong Nhu Hoc Lantern Street in Ho Chi Minh City glows in colors, bringing visitors back to their childhood.
The street shines with lanterns in different shapes and lights as the shopkeepers welcome families and children to a festive season.
The most common site on Luong Nhu Hoc Street is families taking their children here to see and buy lanterns.
We're going to Lantern Street. I like the star-shaped ones.
These lanterns are miniature versions of traditional designs, bringing much joy to children.
Young people prefer smaller, trendy lanterns.
The older buy traditional ones for charity or decoration.
The variety of lanterns on display creates a vibrant picture of mid-autumn and has thus also become a favorite picture spot for young visitors.
I came here to enjoy the mid-autumn atmosphere and feel the changes from past years.
I also take photos for memories.
And so each mid-autumn festival, Luong Nhu Hoc Lantern Street continues to be a place where both children and adults recreate lasting joy and memories.
