Now, the United States is one of the countries that has attracted the most international students from around the world.
Since the end of World War 2, the number of foreign students coming to study in the US has steadily increased
but however, for the first time in this academic year, the number of international students in the US has declined.

The Association of International Educators in America estimates that the number of international students enrolled in American universities this fall decreased by 30 to 40% compared to last year, equivalent to about 150,000 students.
International students make up 6% of nearly 90 million students in the US, compared to English speaking countries such as 38% in Canada, 31% in Australia.
I feel like college is all about learning about new perspectives of different people and I feel like having international students like it helps you make friends you would never make normally.
I certainly think that American universities should be open to people around the world.
I think because knowledge should be open to everyone, but also it makes our country stronger and better as well.
The decline in international students is not due to the quality of education, but rather due to stricter visa restrictions and tighter monitoring of students deemed as posing a threat to US interests and foreign policy.
Since the beginning of this year, the US State Department has revoked visas of 6000 foreign students.
It hurts Americans because it's very important for students at universities here in the United States to be introduced to people from around the world
because they learn different perspectives, they learn about other countries,
they learn, they develop strong friendships with people from other countries, and it's very important.
the US State Department is also considering limiting the stay of international students in the US to only four years and not allowing them to remain 60 days after graduation to apply for work visas.
Every three international students graduate one job in the United States.
The decline of international students in the US cost the economy 7 billion in the years 2025 and 2026.
