The event is part of Ha Noi's series of activities marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2nd.
Thanks to modern hologram technology, visitors can now witness a vivid recreation of President Ho Chi Minh writing the Declaration of Independence.
The house at 48 Hang Ngang belonged to patriotic businessman Trinh Van Bo and his wife Hoang Thi Minh Ho renowned for their silk trade and pioneering role in the independence fund and the gold week during the August revolution.
Trinh Kien Quoc recalls that President Ho Chi Minh once spoke with his mother praising the family's contribution and urging future generations to remain devoted to the cause of national defense and development.
The exhibition also highlights themes such as the historical context and the necessity of the Declaration of Independence, its significance and the journey of defending the nation's independence.
The displays are arranged as a coherent timeline offering the public an engaging and accessible historical narrative.
It was also here that President Ho Chi Minh and party leaders held important meetings.
I feel really excited and want to visit this place once.
The event brings a moving lifelike experience inside the very room on the second floor of 48 Hang Ngang where the document was written embodying the timeless values and the nation's aspirations for independence, freedom, and happiness.
