1. How to access game settings
1.1. General settings for all games
Select the Practice section (1) → Click the 'Change game' button (2) → Choose the Settings icon (3)
1.2. Individual settings for each game
Apart from the general settings, you can change settings for each game to better suit that particular game. Most games have their own individual settings.
To access the individual settings: Choose the game you want -> Select 'Settings' at the start game screen.
2. Explanation of settings
- Vocab size (1) is the number of vocabulary cards you want to review in a single session. You can choose anything from 4 to 100 words. Depending on the game, you can select the number of words accordingly. For example, when playing listening flashcards, you can choose 100 words to listen gradually; but when playing daily challenge, it's best to choose at most 20 words as choosing too many would result in longer gameplay, and any technical issues such as loss of network connection or app crashing may cause you to lose your progress.
- Autoplay audio (2) - Automatically plays pronunciation right after you complete your answer.
- Auto show video (3) - When this mode is enabled, the app automatically adds questions with videos. By default, eJOY turns off this feature because having videos in the game slows down the loading speed.
- Show note after answer (4) - Displays the vocabulary card after each question, which is convenient for reviewing definitions, examples, and contexts of vocabulary if you do not remember them well.
- Review priority (5) - Choose the review priority among words due for review/newly added words to the book/random words.
- Medium Interval (6) - You can adjust the gap between two reviews of a vocabulary word within a range of 6 to 48 hours.
