Have you saved lots of vocabulary in your eJOY Word Book and spent time reviewing it, but still feel stuck when it comes to using those words in conversations? Don’t worry! The Practice AI Voca Talk feature is here to help you.
With this feature, you can practice speaking English using the vocabulary you've saved in your Word Book through realistic scenarios generated by AI. It’s a great way to turn your vocabulary into practical communication tools and boost your confidence in speaking English!
1. Understanding AI Voca Talk
AI Talk Vocab is part of the Game Center, and it's designed to help you learn and use new words. Click "Play AI Voca Talk" to start a game that helps build your vocabulary.
You can quickly review words with flashcards or skip if you're ready. Before you start chatting, you can confirm you're ready or change the situation to match what you want to learn.
2. How "AI Voca Talk" Works
During the game:
- Watch your progress with the progress bar (1)
- Use the speaker icon (2) to hear AI responses again.
- Translate AI answers with the translate icon (3)
- Record your voice with the record icon (4) for real talk practice.
- Use the retry icon (5) to try again.
- You can even get suggestions (6)
- Change the conversation name to make it your own (7)
- View your words list with the vocabulary list icon (8). Used words will be marked with a green check.
- End Talk and Get Feedback: Move to feedback, scoring, and review screens to learn more.
3. Customizing your learning experience
Make your vocabulary practice fit your needs:
- Settings: Select the setting icon to adjust vocab size, preview options, and minimum review interval
- Talk History: Select the history icon in the corner of the game start screen as shown below.
In talk history, you can see past conversations and the vocabulary you used. Manage talk names and times to keep track.
